Kalinga State University Celebrates 31st Foundation Day and 8th University Charter Day: Reflecting on a Transformative Journey Towards Educational Excellence

Blessed with a Thanksgiving mass, Kalinga State University's 31st Foundation Day and 8th University Charter Day took place this morning, January 24, 2024, at the Kalinga State University gymnasium.

"Keystones Shaping the University: Journey Towards Successes" is the Theme for this year’s Foundation and Charter Day. Various activities were set to be conducted simultaneously and consecutively for whole three days starting today until January 26, 2024.

Kalinga State University Leads the Way: Launching the Pioneering Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) in Cordillera

Kalinga State University is the first SUC to offer Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEAP) which was launched today at KSU Dagupan Campus.

Said activity was spearheaded by Mr. Rodolfo B. Tucay, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and Dr. Pinky Larcelle L. Gas-ib, Coordinator of ETEEAP and Director for Distance Education, Transnational Education and International Linkages.

Kalinga State University is first SUC deputized for ETEEAP in Cordillera Region

Marking a revolutionary step for higher education in the Cordillera Region, Kalinga State University is the first state university (SUC) to be deputized for the Expanded Tertiary Education, Equivalency, and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).

Such feat is confirmed by Dr. Patricio Dinamling, Education Program Supervisor-CHED Cordillera.

A formal communication dated December 28, 2023 informed the approval of the application of KSU for government authority (GA) to offer BA History and BA Political Science via ETEEAP as per Commission en Banc Resolution No. 730-2023.

Triumph at the Summit: KSU Prodigy, Febie Gel Laquiao Dagson, Secures 8th Spot in LET 2023

Kalinga State University is ablaze with pride as it celebrates the outstanding achievement of Ms. Febie Gel Laquiao Dagson, who clinched the 8th position in the 2023 Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LET). Hailing from the picturesque Man-obal, Tinglayan, Kalinga, the 20-year-old prodigy graduated with the highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude, in June 2023 from the Kalinga State University, having completed her Bachelor in Elementary Education.

KSU Welcomes the Newbies of the Family

Through the initiative of the HR Unit of the University’s administrative office, supported by the University Key officials, the orientation program for new entrants, specifically the non-teaching staff of the University is conducted at Las Vegas Hotel and Restaurant, today.

Highlights are the statement of the events purpose, Discussion, and presentation of various topics on the Norms of Conduct and Ethical Standards ( RA 6713), Government Working Hours and Proper Office Decorum, and other matters concerning the rules and obligations for the institution.

Senator Imee Marcos' Generosity Provides 10 million Educational Assistance to 2000 KSU Students in AICS Program

Senator Imee Marcos, adopted Kalinga daughter with native name Laggunawa, extended her benevolence to Kalinga State University by granting a substantial educational assistance of 10 million pesos to support 2000 deserving students through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), on November 5, 2023, at the Kalinga Astrodome. Each of the 2000 beneficiaries was granted 5,000 pesos from this budget allocation.
