President Bagtang Swears in Newly Elected Officers of KSU Federated Alumni Association Inc.

Yesterday, at the Alumni Center, President Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the KSU Federated Alumni Association Inc.

Mr. Lou Marshal Banggawan, the university’s alumni coordinator, opened the program by detailing the election process for representatives from the three campuses—Bulanao, Dagupan, and Rizal—and the subsequent formation and registration of the Federated Alumni Association Inc. with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

President Bagtang addressed the new officers, emphasizing the significant impact they could make on the association and drawing on examples of achievements from alumni associations at other institutions. With approximately 38,000 alumni since the university's inception, the newly elected officers are poised to shoulder substantial responsibilities.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Jay Lapuz, the newly elected president, committed to upholding the university's honor and serving its stakeholders with dedication. He will be representing the association to the university board of regents.

Vice President-elect Ms. Helen Rueco concluded the ceremony by urging her fellow officers to actively engage in the association’s initiatives, reminding them of their commitment made during the oath-taking.
