KSU-Dagupan Campus Conducts Fourth Quarter CY 2024 Management Review

The Kalinga State University- Dagupan Campus successfully conducted its Fourth Quarter Calendar Year (CY) 2024 Management Review, highlighting accomplishments, updates, and plans to address critical concerns and improve campus operations.

The event opened with a warm welcome and an introduction of the review objectives by Ms. Odette C. Pannogan, Dagupan Campus Administrator. Dr. James Guidangen, former Campus Administrator, presented the minutes of meeting during the previous management review.

Dr. Sheila Mae Carol A. Buslig, Director for Quality Assurance, provided updates on the accreditation process and proposed actions for program accreditations in CY 2025. Ms. Brenda B. Lumines, Director for Research, reviewed the campus research agenda and encouraged general education faculty to align their research with their specializations and collaborate with their respective departments.

The review of the extension agenda was presented by Dr. Divina A. Balocnit, Director for Extension, while the campus budget review and funding allocations were discussed by Mr. Neil Yapan, representing the Budget Officer, Ms. Elsie Andres. A financial overview for CY 2025 was also presented by Director for Finance Services, Mr. Danilo Buen.

Proposed personnel allocations for the Registrar’s Office were outlined by University Registrar, Mr. Danilo Iso, represented by Mr. Rexel Bayongasan. Updates on student development plans were presented by Priam Jethro de Guzman, while Director for Student Services, Admissions, and Placement Services, Mr. Ronald Bulwayan, alongside university physician Dr. Maria Linda Gavino and campus nurse Ms. Maria Nenuca Buslig, provided updates on student policies and health services.

The OIC Director for the Business Affairs Office, Mr. Daniel Pannogan, shared progress on income-generating projects. Dr. Raquel Dulliyao presented the accomplishments of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.

Updates and actions on issues from previous management reviews were addressed by college deans and unit heads. Infrastructure project updates were provided by Architect Jenie L. Abad, Project Development Officer III. ICT updates were shared by Mr. Reymar Pan-oy, Head of the ICT Office, while Ms. Mary June Wacas, Head of the University Information Office, discussed the updates on University Information Services and its effective practices.

Updates and concerns from the support staff were presented by Administrative Officer V, Mr. Ronald Daluping. Issues raised during the review were promptly addressed by the concerned officials, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The management review emphasized collaboration and proactive measures in addressing the campus’s strategic priorities and operational challenges, setting a strong foundation for 2025.
