Dr. Ferdinand P. Gonzales is the first speaker who is a distinguished Development Practitioner and Consultant, and recognized for his expertise in Gender and Development. He is a certified National Technical Adviser on Gender and Development, a title conferred by the Philippine Commission on Women.

Ms. Frances Noelle G. Escalera, the second speaker, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in Gender and Development. Presently, she is the Supervising Professional Regulations officer at the PRC-CAR and a certified member of the PCW National GAD Resource Pool (PCW-NGRP) in Baguio City.

Topics include Fundamentals of Gender Mainstreaming, GAD Planning and Budgeting, GAD Accomplishment Report, Gender Analysis and GA Tools and HGDG Tools for Project Design.

Said capability building is participated by the GAD Focal Point System Members which include the University Officials, GAD Chairpersons and Research and Extension Chairpersons and it is initiated by the Office of the GAD Director, Ms. Irene Daguasi.
