In a show of unity and commitment to regional autonomy, officials and staff members of Kalinga State University actively participated in an interagency flag raising ceremony on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the Kalinga Sports Center. The ceremony marked the commencement of various significant events, including the 36th Cordillera Month, National Disaster Resilience Month, Nutrition Month, and a provincewide Unity Gong Relay.

With the theme "Celebrating one, Resilient, Diverse and Inclusive (CORDI) Journey Toward Regional Autonomy," the flag raising ceremony brought together representatives from different agencies and organizations in Kalinga, highlighting the collective efforts towards regional development.
