Kalinga State University Baccalaureate Mass and Recognition Day

The program began with a solemn mass officiated by Pastor Romulo M. Banggawan Jr., who instilled faith and values among the graduates. His spiritual guidance set a reflective and hopeful tone for the day's events.

During the recognition ceremony, the Guest Speaker, 2LT Jayson T. Alyong, PA, shared powerful insights drawn from his experiences in training school. He emphasized the importance of resilience and determination, advising the graduates to rest when necessary but to never entertain thoughts of quitting.

Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, the University President, extended his deepest gratitude to the parents, faculty, staff, and administration for their untiring support and dedication. He acknowledged the vital role they played in nurturing the graduates and helping them reach this significant milestone.

"Your dreams are also the dreams of your parents," Dr. Bagtang reminded the graduates, emphasizing the shared aspirations and collective efforts that have brought them to this point. He urged them to make their accomplishments meaningful, not just for themselves, but for their families and the community.

The President expressed his profound appreciation to the parents for entrusting their children to KSU. "Thank you for believing in us to shape and guide your children's futures," he said, recognizing the trust placed in the university.

"You came to KSU to be educated, to be trained, to become better persons. Now, I challenge you to inspire your generation and the next to exemplify the true values of a leader as you imbibed during your stay at KSU. Transmit the values that define the KSU community to the other communities you will interact with," he added.

Dr. Bagtang encouraged the graduates to view leadership as an opportunity to serve the common good. "Go and be successful in your chosen career," he urged, "but also remember your alma mater. Reach out and help develop KSU into the best school for many more students."

He concluded his message with a heartfelt wish for their future endeavors: "I wish you all the best and pray for your success. May you always strive to make a positive impact, guided by the principles and values you've learned at Kalinga State University."

With these inspiring words, Dr. Bagtang motivated the graduates to embark on their new journeys with confidence, purpose, and a commitment to service. The ceremony celebrated not only their academic achievements but also their potential to lead and make meaningful contributions to society.
