Kalinga State University’s Regional Qualifiers Bring Home Winning Awards, Inspiring More Research Enthusiasts.

Held at the Benguet State University gymnasium, La Trinidad Benguet is a four-day activity in celebration of the 14th Joint Regional Symposium on RDE Highlights and 7th Regional Student Research Congress, themed: 14th Joint Regional Symposium on RDE Highlights and 7th Regional Student Research Congress beginning October 14, 2024, and ended October 17, 2024.

Participants from the university were the regional qualifiers during the 2024 mid-year in-house review held on June 20-21, 2024, at the RnD Hall, Bulanao campus. Activities covered oral presentations of research from different categories, the set-up of poster presentations for the poster category, and the set-up of institutional booths featuring locally produced products by the province and the university. This booth fair highlighted the kick-off ceremony symbolized by a ceremonial ribbon cutting led by the event keynote speaker Dr. Melvin B. Carlos, Deputy Executive Director for OED-ARMMS, DOST-PCAARRD together with other distinguished guests.

In the closing ceremony, the activity concluded with the awarding of certificates to all the participants and the awarding of winning research in the different categories, including the awards for the institutional booth set-up. As expected, Kalinga State University won various awards, both major and minor awards, which inspired participants to work harder.
