Kalinga State University Hosts 28th Philippine Statistics Quiz in Partnership with PSA-Kalinga

With the theme, "Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation", the Philippine Statistics Authority - Kalinga conducted its 28th Philippine Statistics Quiz Competition in celebration of the 35th National Statistics Month, hosted by Kalinga State University. It was held today, October 30, 2024, at the 2nd Floor, RnD Building, Bulanao Campus, which brought students from the different colleges, KSU Officials and PSA staff.

Kalinga State University Joins SEARCA Workshop on Integrating Singaporean Innovations in Philippine Higher Education

The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) recently held an integration workshop for higher education leaders and faculty from the Philippines who participated in a cross-visit to several prestigious institutions in Singapore from November 13-17, 2023. The workshop provided a platform for 23 participants to present their key observations and insights gathered from visits to The HEAD Foundation, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Social Sciences, and Republic Polytechnic.

Kalinga State University Advances with Six Programs Undergoing Accreditation

From October 9 to 11, 2024, Kalinga State University is set to have six programs undergo rigorous accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). Three of these programs—Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Master of Science in Rural Development, and PhD in Community Development—will be evaluated under the 3rd Survey, Phase II.

Professor Marcelino Gallasoc Saliw-an has had an impressive 40-year career serving the BIBAK NAS (Now Kalinga State University Laboratory High School) and the Kalinga State University. Throughout his tenure, he has made significant contributions to the university's vision and mission through his research and technical expertise in the field of animal science.

KSU Employees Recognized for Exemplary Service

August 19, 2024. In today’s flag raising ceremony, two non-teaching employees were awarded with certificate of recognition from the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) chaired by the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor. Said recognitions were awarded by the University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang and the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor.

Youth Entrepreneurship Programs - Project MARITES (Mobilizing Available Resources through Inclusive Training on Entrepreneurship of Students) is a collaboration of the Department of Trade and Industry - Cordillera (DTI-CAR), Commission on Higher Education (CHED-CAR) and Six (6) State Universities and Colleges in CAR to empower the next generation of business leaders and to equip young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to launch successful business.

KSU Employees Receive Certificate of Recognition for Exemplary Integrity and Service

In a commendable display of integrity and dedication to service, two Kalinga State University (KSU) employees were recently awarded with Certificate of Recognition and rewarded under the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE), chaired by the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor. Ariel Cabanilla Aplod and Ms. Virginia Kiley Cadamos were honored for their outstanding acts of honesty and commitment to the university's core values.
