KSU-CETHM Hosts 2nd Province-Wide Hospitality Convention 2024: Shaping the Future of Hospitality

With the theme “Shaping the Future of Hospitality: A Commitment to Personal Development, Sustainability, and Innovation”, the Kalinga State University-College of Entrepreneurship, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (CETHM) successfully conducted the 2nd Province-Wide Hospitality Convention on December 12, 2024, at the Golden Berries Hotel and Convention Center. KSU Faculty Join In-House Training to Elevate Research Publications

Faculty members of Kalinga State University – Dagupan Campus took part in an in-house training session titled “Right Tools, Bright Rules: Achieving Goals in Writing Publishable Research” on December 6, 2024. The program aimed to boost research publication output and help meet the targets of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) and the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA).

Kalinga State University and DTI Forge Partnership for Community Empowerment

December 9, 2024. Kalinga State University and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Kalinga Provincial Office today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to collaborate on various projects aimed at empowering the community. This partnership will focus on enhancing local entrepreneurship, providing skills training, and promoting sustainable development initiatives that benefit residents throughout the province.

The MOA signing ceremony, held at the DTI Building Conference Hall in Dagupan, Tabuk City, Kalinga, was attended by key representatives from both institutions.

Kalinga State University Strengthens Local Tourism Through Culinary Collaboration

Tabuk City, Kalinga- KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor joined Department of Tourism Regional Director Jovita A. Ganongan and OCTACA Department Head Ms. Arlene Ethel B. Odiem to participate in a countryside cookout event at Granzion Hotel. This event, happened today, December 9, 2024, was part of the DOT-CAR's initiative to promote "under the radar" tourism destinations in the region.

Empowering Futures: DTI and KSU Host Coursera Bootcamp on Google Career Certifications

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in collaboration of Kalinga State University conducted a Coursera Bootcamp Activity under Google Carrier Certification program yesterday, December 05, 2024. It was held at the Audio-Visual Center, CNHS Building, Bulanao Campus and participated by the College of Entrepreneurship, Tourism, and Hospitality Management.

KSU Champions in MOVE Contested Activities

December 04, 2024 – In support to the Provincial Local Government Unit on the 18-day campaign to end VAWC, Kalinga State University Non-Teaching Personnel actively participated in the First Men Opposed to Violence Everywhere (MOVE) Kalinga Summit with the theme: “Kalinga, Mantimpuyog Kodjongan Jin VAWC” at the Kalinga Sports Center, Bulanao, Tabuk City, which brought together different groups of men from various agencies in the province.

KSU Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Advances Quality Standards through AACCUP Second Survey Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery program is undergoing the Second Survey Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) from December 2 to 6, 2024. This rigorous evaluation is part of KSU's continuous effort to ensure that its academic programs meet high standards of quality, relevance, and effectiveness.

Kalinga Students Receive Tulong Dunong Program Orientation and TES Stipends

The Orientation on the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and the Releasing of Notice of Awards and Stipends under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) for the Province of Kalinga was held on December 3, 2024, at the Kalinga State University Gymnasium, Bulanao Campus. This significant event convened 88 grantees from KSU, 30 students from other colleges in the province, KSU officials, Commission on Higher Education (CHED-CAR) representatives, and dignitaries, including a representative from Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go and the Provincial Governor's Office.

KSU Bags Awards at Tabuk City Mangwa Creative Festival

 

Kalinga State University bagged the award under the Digital Interactive Media category during the awarding ceremony of the Mangwa Creative Festival on November 29 at the Davidson Hotel.

The Tabuk City Mangwa Creative Icons, organized by the city government and DTI-Kalinga, recognizes individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to the city’s cultural and creative sectors. These sectors include traditional cultural expression, performing arts, design, print media, audio-visual, and digital media.
